Serves as a functional Risk Management (RM) analyst within DCSA Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program office. The ERM mission entails developing a deliberate approach towards essential policies, procedures, programs and oversight in the areas of Risk Management, Internal Controls and Management Review. Supports senior leaders on policy, risk management issues and opportunities, process improvement, risk identification and assessment, and validation of corrective actions.
Identifies objective uncertainties and the possible risks associated with enterprise objectives. Forecasts and evaluates risks while simultaneously supporting the development of corrective action plans that minimize the impact. Incumbent provides complex/authoritative analytical expertise to the DCSA Enterprise for the overall ERM Program, particularly the Risk Management program. Serves as the owner of the official list of processes and sub processes including definitions, inputs, outputs, connections, and relationships. Identifies risks throughout the enterprise and develops methods to correct and mitigate future occurrences of such risks. Provides hands on support to DCSA risk owners for risk managed projects across all functional and end-to-end processes addressing issues and risks in the following areas: systems, information, alignment, and expertise. Determines/analyzes relationships and interconnectedness between processes/programs and in return provides expert assessments of processes that may not have been traditionally integrated. Develops RM processes/policies and procedures that serve as a catalyst of the process modification, typically jumps organizational barriers, forms bridges between processes, provides an intense focus on all end-to-end processes throughout the DCSA Enterprise.
The incumbent will ensure all RM initiatives, processes and procedures are properly and timely elevated for Process Owner review and input of their recommended options for resolution including the validation of corrective actions. The incumbent aligns with management officials to incorporate policy, mitigate risk, test of controls, and conduct process management reviews seamlessly.
