(U) Graphic Designers partner with our customers to create and enhance all visual elements such as maps, tables, charts, timelines, and illustrations used to convey NGA intelligence. Graphic Designers develop complex custom graphics as well as conduct pre-publication reviews of analyst-submitted designs, redeveloping and customizing them as needed to maximize conveyance and impact. As experts in graphics quality, NGA conveyance, and publication standards, Graphic Designers leverage established guidelines - including the NGA Visualization Toolkit and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence's (ODNI) Analytic Tradecraft Standards - to provide critical feedback to GEOINT analysts that maximizes the effectiveness of all visual elements in analytic intelligence reporting.

(U) The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collegial environment, have well-honed written and oral communication skills, exemplify strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. They will be expected to serve on flexible schedules which may require nights, weekends, and holiday work. They should also be comfortable engaging and communicating through a variety of formats and mediums (email, SharePoint, one-on-one, communities of practice, professional conferences, etc.) Beyond performing as a Graphic Designer within ATCD, the candidate will be expected to investigate, design, test, and implement advancing methods of GEOINT conveyance as ATC continues to support analytic modernization efforts. Additionally, the ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate internally and across ATC, and be adept at building coalitions will be critical to a candidate's success.

(U) Telework: ATC complies with NGA's telework policy guidelines, but there is limited opportunity for telework in this position due to the classified nature of the analytic work. While Graphic Designers can expect to maintain an active telework agreement to facilitate training and other projects as needed, telework opportunities will be infrequent due to the nature of work required at the classified level.
