Mission Statement:
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee national intelligence related to the Climate and Global Issues portfolio, to include global health, refugee issues, food and water security, stability related to climate, climate change (including ecological degradation), atrocities accountability, and other topics as they develop; set collection, analysis, and intelligence operations priorities on behalf of the ODNI. Administer National Intelligence Manger (NIM), Climate and Global Issues resource allocations, budget processes and activities, to include the establishment of controls to ensure NIM Climate and Global Issues equities remain within budget.
Develop integrated collection strategies in concert with the National Intelligence Collection Officer.
Influence policy development and strategy implementation for the IC on the Climate and Global Issues portfolio.
Determine the state of collection, analysis, or intelligence operations resource gaps; develop and publish a UIS which identifies and formulates strategies to mitigate gaps; advise leadership of gaps, mitigation strategies, progress against the strategies, and assessment of the effectiveness of both the strategies and the closing of the intelligence gaps.
Develop IC-level analytic production strategies in concert with the National Intelligence Council.
Evaluate and determine the state of analysis by assessment of the quality of analysis and ensure competitive and alternative analysis is conducted on high-priority topics. Identify research and development opportunities in order to defend, advocate for, and institute justifications for continued, additional or dedicated funding.
Liaise with community elements to drive greater intelligence integration, perform outreach, and ensure resources and priority attention is given to targets.
Direct and oversee advocacy initiatives to integrate and optimize contributions from current and planned technical, analytic, and openly available sources.
Lead and manage a professional staff in successfully defining and managing complex programs and projects that may include ill-defined requirements, ambiguity, parallel tasks, multiple dependencies, high risks, and multiple interfaces; ensure timelines, costs, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved according to approved plans.
Brief senior United States Government policymakers, IC, and Department of Defense officials, members of Congress, partners, and other major stakeholders as necessary on issues concerning the Climate and Global Issues portfolio.
Liaise with ODNI leadership to develop innovative approaches and provide structured recommendations focused on the advancement of integrated analysis and collection intelligence activities and broader ODNI goals.
Perform personnel management responsibilities with a focus on building a high-performance workforce; promote team building and a collaborative work environment; ensure goals and performance objectives are understood; assess performance and provide timely feedback, recognition, and remediation.

Mandatory Requirements:
Superior analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify needs, requirements, and develop innovative recommendations and solutions for improvement.
Mastery knowledge of the IC's analytic and collection architecture as related to the Climate and Global Issues portfolio, and expertise working on targets across multiple analytic disciplines.
Expert knowledge of IC structures, capabilities, operational mechanisms, and ability to anticipate issues relevant to the Climate and Global Issues portfolio.
Bachelor's Degree

Superior oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex information and technical data to all levels of management.
