Serves as a subject matter expert and action officer exercising development and oversight of intelligence policy, strategy, resource issues related to Open Source, Geospatial, and Measurement and Signature Intelligence (OSINT, GEOINT, MASINT) support to military operations within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (OUSD(I&S)), Director for Defense Intelligence for Collection and Special Programs, Technical Collection Directorate. Works independently as part of a cross functional team to deliver specialized policy support to DoD, the Military Departments, the intelligence community (IC), and other USG agencies in support to DoD intelligence enabled military operations worldwide. Coordinates and maintains situational awareness on Open Source, Geospatial, and Measurement and Signature Intelligence issues (OSINT, GEOINT, MASINT, Commercial Imagery, Geospatial Information and Services) in order to inform and provide decision-making support to DoD and the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) senior leaders. Identifies and pursues opportunities to improve IC and DIE policy programs; normalize OSINT, GEOINT and MASINT support to DoD full spectrum military operations; and develops and oversees implementation and compliance with DoD policy. Represents OUSD(I&S) at Department, Interagency, Federal Government, and Foreign Allies forums, and coordinates on activities within the Directorate's mission area.

Have an academic and/or work history grounded in OSINT, GEOINT and MASINT activities, including All-Source, Publicly Available Information (PAI), Commercially Available Information (CAI) and imagery, data acquisition, collection and storage, exploitation, processing, production and dissemination, with an emphasis on the DIE's ability to satisfy DoD and warfighting intelligence requirements. ??Knowledge of, and experience with NGA and DIA roles, missions, and business practices to support cyberspace operations is desired; however, intelligence support to full spectrum military operations expertise is the primary focus; ??Broad knowledge of DoD activities, missions, organizations, the composition of the DIE, as well as the Interagency and the Intelligence community, its members, and their operational missions is desired;. ??Excellent verbal and written communication appropriate for informing and interacting with senior decision-makers across the DoD, DIE, and IC ??Demonstrated ability to work independently and with minimal oversight; ??Experience at the DoD Component or USG/Department/Agency level is desired ??Familiarity with Joint Doctrine, laws and policies which govern intelligence activities/operations
